- Q – What concrete depth is required for a hydraulic one post car lift/hoist/ramp ?
A – Requirements for the concrete floor:
Concrete C20/25 according to DIN EN 206-1. Horizontal, accuracy of flatness smaller than 5 mm (0.2”). New concrete must dry for 28 days

- Lower the lift to its minimum lifting point. This will lead to 95% of the hydraulic oil flowing back into the oil container.
- Disconnect the electric from the control panel.
- Drain the hydraulic oil from the oil container and transport it to its respective disposal site.
- Remove control panel and oil container from main column.
- Remove lifting pads if possible by unscrewing them from the lifting arms.
- Remove the (heavy) lifting arms from the carrige.
- Unscrew and remove centre base plate.
- If present remove curtains from posts/columns
- Disconnect hydraulic hose, but prepare for rest hydraulic oil flowing from hose and cylinders. Make sure hydraulic cylinders are fully drained before carrying on.
- Lift the (heavy) carrige into the first safey lock latch on each post/column.
- Unscrew steel cables in each post/column and them remove them.
- Remove nut from anchor bolts
- Cut anchor bolts
- Carefully lower post/column to the ground. Due to the heavy posts/columns it is recommended to lower themwith 4 strong person or a fork lift.
