AScrew drive lifts consist of a screw shaft, motor and a large bolt, which is attached to a nut. The motor then spins the screw shaft, raising or lowering            the nut. Hydraulic drive systems consist of a Motor, hydraulic pump, hydraulic fluid, and steel cables. The Motor drives the hydraulic pump which                  raises the lift. Steel cables will synchronize lifting.

    A. All car lifts be they 2 post, 4 post, or scissor lifts are subject the thorough examination LOLER (Reg 9(3)). Where persons are not elevated in a vehicle on the lift Reg 9(3)(a)(ii)              would recommend regular inspections are carried out at least every 12 months. Where there is cause for people to be elevated on the lift or where persons routinely work        below the lift then a thorough inspection of the lift and its components should be conducted every six months under Reg 9(3)(a)(i).

  1. Q. What is the weight of a hydraulic one post car lift/hoist/ramp ?

    A. Due to its design, the one post/column lift can weigh up toaround 2-3 tons. To ensure safety and stability the thick and heavy post/column is mounted to the            massive support frame.

  1. Q. What are the dimensions of a hydraulic one post car lift/hoist/ramp ?                                                                                                                                                        A. The dimensions of one post lifts varies depending on their type. The dimensions for the TST25SP Trommelberg one post lift is 2830x1950x2610mm

  1. Q. Where can I get spare parts for a hydraulic one post car lift/hoist/ramp ?

    A. It is very important to consider this question before buying a vehicle lift. Fact is that most buyers will struggle to get spare parts because a number of suppliers        will manufactur their equipment abroad. We are aware of this problem and therefore keep 99 % of spare parts in our main office in Germany. 2. Disconnect the electric from the control panel.
  3. Drain the hydraulic oil from the oil container and transport it to its respective disposal site.
  4. Remove control panel and oil container from main column.
